GRPSTC Site Prep For Pre-Fab Burn Structure

The Glendale Regional Public Safety Training Center (GRPSTC) is a multi-city training facility for police, fire, EMT, and SWAT. This facility is shared between Maricopa County Community College District and the cities of  Surprise, Peoria, Avondale, and Glendale.  This project included site grading, removals, site preparation, and site electrical to a new proposed pre-fabricated metal building to be used for fire training.  DCS installed new concrete, curb and gutter, driveways, spillways, and retention basin.  DCS oversaw the installation of 12 new concrete piers to be drilled and poured to support the proposed building. There was approximately 14,000 SF of new 6” concrete slab surrounding the new burn facility as well as 715 SY of new 6” concrete fire truck access drive.
