Ironwood Drive Improvements

This CMAR project included roadway and drainage improvements and the installation of new sewer and water lines along Ironwood Road from Ray Avenue to Elliot Avenue in Apache Junction. The roadway improvements included widening of Ironwood Road to the full arterial section including curb, gutter, sidewalk, median, intersection grading, street lights, signing and marking, utilities, and landscaping. As part of the roadway widening, the existing storm drain laterals were extended with new headwalls. New drainage structures, retention basins, grading, and storm drains were part of the scope of work. A new 4’ x 5’ pre-cast box culvert barrel was installed on the south side of the existing powerline channel. A new 18” sewer line was installed stubbing east along the Warner Road alignment.
